The Spanish Quarter of Naples, Italy
Take a walk through busy narrow streets of the Spanish Quarters in Naples, Italy. Built in the 1600's to house the Spanish troops, this area, also known as the Casbah to many Neapolitans, is now home to roughly 14,000 residents. These streets are the first example of modern urban planning in Europe as they are a grid network of around eighteen streets by twelve.
