This walked was filmed on October 14th, 2018 between 10:15am and 12:05pm. The walk begins at the Belvedere of the Piazzetta where you walk through the Piazzetta and past the Quisisana Hotel before reaching the Hotel Luna grounds. Before reaching the Gardens of Augustus, you will walk past the famous perfume shop, Carthusia. The walk continues to one of the oldest buildings on the island, the Charterhouse of San Giacomo, i.e., the Certosa di San Giacomo. This is where the Carthusian monks lived in silence and solitude.
